Job description / Role
The role will work with our client on the Midfield terminal Development in Abu Dhabi.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Contract and commercial administration of Work Package Subcontractors. (Finishing)
2. Determination of interim payment entitlement.
3. Finalisation of interim payment certificates.
4. Determination of Variations to Subcontract and Value Engineering.
5. Integration of Subcontract BOQ into BIM and C3D.
6. Assist in finalising Earned Value for subcontractor in C3D.
7. Determine impact of Drawing Changes.
8. Issue Contractors Instruction to subcontractors.
9. Issue Value Engineering Proposals and Request for Variation Proposals to Subcontractors.
10. Assist in finalisation of LOI, LOA and Subcontract Agreements.
11. Valuation of Variations through EI, RFVO, VEP, ROM, etc.
12. Analysis of Subcontractor cost due to Employers proposed design change.
13. Valuation of Cost impact regarding Value Engineering.
14. Attend Subcontractors Commercial & Progress Meetings.
15. Coordination with other departments to carry out the above tasks.
1. Managing, assisting, supervising and providing guidance to my team members.
16. Preparing and reviewing Subcontractors advance payments and monthly invoicing for compliance.
17. Drafting and ensuring contractual correspondence and notices are issued on time to the Subcontractors as per the provisions of the Subcontract.
18. Preparing and reviewing Subcontractors monthly liabilities.
19. Reviewing technical aspects of the Subcontracts.
20. Applying company policies, legal procedures & regulations, to maintain quality effective administration of the Subcontracts.
21. Resolving conflicts, mediate disputes, find solutions to problems and making decisions in coordination with my Manager.
22. Implement Subcontract reviews on a consistent basis to gauge progress of Subcontracts.
23. Upon completion of reviews, preparing written reports detailing the overall progress of Subcontracts and briefing my Manager regarding those reviews and any associated actions taken.
24. Obtaining close out documentation upon completion of Subcontract Works and negotiating final (end) settlements of the Subcontract.
Requirements
Candidates should be;
Degree qualified in either QS/ Engineering/ Civil Eng.
Ideally with a Quantity Surveying Degree from a UK University, MRICS,
8+ years experience post qualification.
Finishes Experienced on a major Airport Development
Major Airports Construction Experience.
