Job description / Role
Our client is a Tier 1 Contractor based in Doha, Qatar. They are in the process of constructing a large mixed use project and require a Senior Contracts Administrator to join their expanding team.
The candidate will be required to:
- Assist in administering Contracts, Subcontracts and other Agreements to ensure compliance with liable terms and conditions. (FIDIC)
- Identify events that may lead to Extension of Time (EOT) entitlements.
- Assist in drafting interim particulars, as required by the contract and correspondences in a professional / contractual manner.
- Assist in preparing, analyzing and resolving EOT claims.
- Collect data and coordinate with other Projects Departments
- Handle contractual, legal, commercial etc issues related to subcontracts and with lower tier subcontractors.
- Ensure that contractual and commercial matters are handled efficiently by minimizing claims from the subcontractors
Requirements
- Relevant Degree in Engineering / Quantity Surveying
- Solid QS / Sub Contract Administrator background
- Able to display solid stints with previous employers
- Middle East experience preferred but not essential
- Tier 1 Contractor experience preferred
