SUB-SURFACE BUSINESS PROCESS ADVISOR Liquefied Natural Gas Development Qatar Ras Gas, Qatar’s premium Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) exporter, is growing rapidly and bringing new products to the market while raising its profile regionally and around the world. They are now looking for a Sub-Surface Business Process Advisor to join the Company. The Role Develop a sustainable technology process across the Subsurface organization. The process helps identify and implement technology initiatives that add significant value to the subsurface tasks. The Technology Process Advisor will focus on improving current processes to increase efficiency with the aim to meet identified savings year by year. He will work closely with his colleagues within the Sub-Surface Department to fast track and maximise value of those identified technologies. In terms of new technologies he will utilize the Drilling Schedule and Work Program and Budget (WP&B) data to estimate potential savings. Detailed tasks will include: •The development of a sustainable, standardized technology process for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness. •The introduction of Business and Performance Reviews for technology initiatives. •Demonstration of the value of the ‘right’ Technology in terms of return on investment. •Matching the rate of implementation with increased rig activity. •Maintaining focus to capitalize identified potential savings year by year. •Optimization of cross-functional technology transfer (build consensus across multiple disciplines). •Facilitate multi disciplined workshops aimed at idea capture. •Development of best practice business processes and controls. •Oversight of technology project budget. RequirementsRequirementsThe Candidate Ras Gas is keen to fill this position and the tax-free salary will reflect the importance of the role within the organization. The successful candidate will require: •B.Sc. in Engineering and an MBA or demonstrated success in major change initiatives. •Minimum 15 years diversified and multi disciplinary experience spanning project planning, implementation and management, and economics. •Strong Process, Technology, commercial background •Strong Communication Skills. •Background in Sub-surface applications |
