Employment: Full Time

The Subcontract Delivery Manager (SDM) is a work page manager for an outsourced work package (System, Sub-system) responsible for the complete delivery of the outsourced elements composing the solution as required by the project and in line with specified objectives in terms of planning, quality and costs.

The SDM manages the relationship with the subcontractor during the execution phase of the subcontract and is the primary point of contact with the subcontractor for all contractual matters. He develops strong and productive relationships with subcontractor and with the organizations project team to ensure that the subcontract requirements can be effectively delivered at minimum risk to the company and that on completion, the subcontract is formally closed after all outstanding actions and issues have been concluded.

- Coordinates internal stakeholders to produce and/or elaborate statements of work, scope of delivery and terms and conditions that reflect the projects requirements and contain necessary processes to underpin successful achievement of the project and technical/product requirements.
- Ensures that the agreed delivery schedules are established with the subcontractor (supported by sound resource management plans) and ensures that these are met, using key performance measurements to ensure conforming deliveries and to identify improvements and/or change opportunities, and ensuring that he/she provides timely, clear and correct guidance and advice to Subcontractors where required.
- Establishes and chairs regular progress and senior review meetings with the Subcontractor to monitor their progress, risks and issues. Proactively manage the Subcontractor(s) and ensure that no surprise culture is embedded from the start so that mitigating actions can be taken quickly to avoid potential delay to delivery.
- Prepares regular progress reports in a timely manner for the senior leadership team ensuring that all information is accurate and that all risks have mitigating actions identified. Progress reports are compiled and aligned with the business reporting cycle.
- Needs a strong understanding of contract management requiring to be first point of contact for all contractual differences between supplier and the organisation and to resolve any minor matters that do not need escalation through to sourcing and/or contract management.
- Actively manages the claims & waivers
- Elaborates & updates the corresponding EAC on a monthly basis.

Requirements

- Must Have Engineering Degree or Master in Business Administration Degree
- Strong and long lasting(5+years) experience in sub contract and sub project management
- Experience in ILS services approach covering the subcontracting of ILS service offers.
