Job description / Role

Our Client an international service provider, offering high quality services to leading organisations in the oil industry. In continental offshore as in deep-water offshore, the service offered by our client is one of the most thorough and reliable on the market. Their maritime support activities cover the entire life cycle of an oil field.

- Define and propose annual policy on its portfolio repair shipyards.
- Negotiate Frame agreement for Repairs and Maintenance Mastery Agreements.
- Manage relationship with repair shipyards.
- Source new repair shipyards - in link with Docking organization.
- Negotiate and coordinate final costs for the provided services.
- Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Sourcing.
- Personal organization.
- Action plan setting.
- Mastery of problem solving techniques.
- Negotiation skills.
- Capability to work in a complex environment.

Requirements

- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in the Industrial, Oil & Gas and/or Marine field.
- Experience with Shipyard repairs.
- An ex-superintendent is essential
- Proficient in MS Office, ORACLE database.
- REFMAN knowledge is beneficial.
- Engineering / marine degree.
- Autonomous.
- Rigours.
- Good relationship and communication skills.
