Job description / Role
POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for day-to-day control of labour operation and quality of installation
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND BASIC DUTIES:
1. Assume responsibility to fully conversant with programmes, 'Targets and PPM Systems' for Production/Installation/maintenance
2. Assume full responsibility to effective organization, deployment and control of the site labour/supervision. Reporting of time keeping and absenteeism. Advise on operative assessment and development.
3. Assume responsibility to ensure that the standard of the installed works is in accordance with the technical and quality specification of the contract and quality of workmanship is maintained to the highest standards.
4. Assume responsibility to ensure the project Health & Safety standards are maintained during the construction/and or maintenance of the works.
5. Assume responsibility to ensure that Contract drawings are constantly marked-up, to enable timely issue to the D.O for issuance of the "As Built" Record Drawings.
6. Assume responsibility to monitoring of "minimum" material stock levels to ensure materials at site are sufficient to achieve the planned programme dates and liaison with the Stores.
7. Assume responsibility to maintain all necessary related records.
a) Daily Site Diary and progress
b) Labour attendance and allocation
8. Assume responsibility to liaising with discipline Engineers on technical issues that may/will affect construction, operation, maintenance, safety and progress of works.
9. Assume responsibility to inspection of completed sections of works prior to initiating an "Inspection Request" to the Client/Engineer.
10. Assume responsibility to complete and issue Purchase Requisitions for material/equipment to fulfill planned target dates.
11. Assume responsibility to attendance at internal meetings as required.
12. Assume responsibility to prepare IR's for material/equipment delivered to site, for inspection by the Client/Engineer.
13. Assume responsibility to prepare and complete test sheets, for witness/sign off by the Client/Engineer.
14. Assume responsibility to ensure QA/QC procedures and requirements are fulfilled.
15. Assume responsibility to keep records of As-Fitted installations for onward transmission to Engineers.
16. Assume responsibility to take-up other duties as allocated.
Requirements
Education Certification : Minimum Diploma in related field
Required Knowledge : Site Activities, Deploying Men to Work, Organisation of Materials & Plants
Experience Required: 5 Years experience as MEP Foreman / Supervisors.
Minimum 2 Years of Gulf experience
