As a Procurement and Planning Supervisor for Starbucks you will maintain internal systems to ensure the quality and continuity of standards, including the delivery of internal and external service level agreements.

Responsibilities include:

* Raising, monitoring and receiving all purchase orders into the business to agreed KPI's
* Participating in sales planning creation and manage inventory to targets in line with strategic category goals
* Compiling research and feedback findings and develop opportunities to benefit the business
* Creating accurate stock item level demand forecasts for all international supply
* Actively managing all inventory holding points to an agreed budget level
* Managing all distribution (with cross border logistics requirements) to the markets and stores ensuring high service levels from supplier to DC to store, to agreed KPI's
* Providing consistent management reports targeting return on investment, turn and exposure
* Managing day-to-day allocation planning and ensure execution of the sales plan where appropriate
* Monitoring cost of sales, inventory, forecasts and budget
* Coordinating with the operation and category teams, creating robust product value forecasts to include all promotional uplifts and trading trends that assist a rolling budgeting process
* Generating accurate merchandise forecasts
* Developing and implementing systems and procedures to enhance department contribution to business and overall security of assets and information in compliance with company policy and local law
* Tracking product availability in time for all sales plans and specifically ensure stock cover is appropriate for planned sales events
* Completing analysis on the assortment inventory policy by stocking unit
* Identifing slow moving/surplus inventory and where appropriate propose clearance action to remain within OTB and drive actions to minimise write off exposure
* Informing the business regarding discontinuations.

Requirements

* Bachelors degree required preferably in related discipline
* 2- 6 years' experience in supply chain / demand planning in a related role
* Good analytical skills
* Planning skills
* Proficiency with MS Office.
