Supply Chain Director (Construction)

Job description / Role

- Parkhouse Bell is delighted to be the chosen recruitment partner for a leading Real Estate developer in the Middle East.
- Reporting to the Deputy CEO, you will lead the Supply Function by ensuring efficiency & consistency of supply, cost effectiveness, availability of goods & materials & developing the management team to guarantee timely delivery of goods at a competitive price.
- The ideal candidate MUST have 15+ years' experience, 10 of which in the GCC and a background in Construction.

Requirements

This MNC is renowned for delivering some of the most creative projects in the region and delivering unparelled results within a multi-Billion dollar portfolio.

As Supply Chain Director your key responsibilities include, but not limited to setting and monitoring Supply Chain budget in accordance with department heads across the designated business units. Implement standardization of Supply Chain business processes by carrying out systems audits. Measure performance by implementing yearly action plans and KPIs. Develop and monitor Service Level Agreements between the Supply Chain and all key internal customers. Oversee the implementation of inventory levels and targets for all product/supply ranges in the warehouses, reflecting yearly/monthly forecast to control COGS. Set transportation cost targets for both main and third party fleet, by developing budgets and overseeing supplier negotiations.

To be successful you must have the following criteria:
- 15 + years' experience, 5 + at management level (Construction background only)
- Industry experience in the GCC, Saudi Arabia preferred
- Bachelor's degree in business related subject
- Strong command of English, Arabic would be an advantage
