Job description / Role
Our client is one the regions leading distributors supplying numerous global FMCG brands and products to the food service sector. They have experienced unrivaled growth over recent years and continue to expand across the GCC region through further organic growth and strategic acquisitions. A Supply Chain Manager Role has arisen that will initially focus on the UAE but will then develop across the whole GCC.
The role will report to the General Manager of the organisation and is responsible for the entire supply chain function across the UAE.
Responsibilities include JIT forecasting, importing/sourcing products, contract negotiation, logistics and warehouse management. This position has excellent prospects within the organisation and providing the right results are achieved will develop in to a GCC focused position with potential of joining the board. This division of the business is part of a major multinational organisation so wider international opportunities will also exist should you excel in this role.
Requirements
As an individual it is essential you are currently working in a supply chain function and have experience of the above mentioned responsibilities. It is very advantageous if you have previous experience working for a distributor supplying the food service sector but can also be considered if you are working for an FMCG manufacturer.
