At present one of our key clients requires a Supply Chain Manager for their operations throughout Algeria. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the Supply Chain and Production procedures for the factory.

Our client requires someone with experience of working on large scale FMCG / Food Production operations ideally in North Africa with an understanding of Krones.

The key responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager:
• Oversee all aspects of the supply chain including; logistics, warehousing and purchasing.
• Liaise with the Production / Factory Manager ensuring that all operations are being carried out effectively.
• Develop a strategy for the manufacturing and supply chain for Algerian operations.
• Work closely with suppliers ensuring stock levels are kept at an optimum level.

Requirements

What we look for in excellent candidates:
• Prior experience in a Supply Chain / Logistics / Procurement function within the Food Production / FMCG sector.
• Fluency in English is essential, additional fluency in French will be highly advantageous.
• A degree in a relevant field will be looked upon favourably.
• Previous experience within multinational Food Production / FMCG companies.
