The Role


Supply Chain Manager - Pharmaceutical needed in Dubai, an established pharmaceutical manufacturer, now has an excellent opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Dubai.

The purpose of the role is to manage and coordinate on behalf of the region, the manufacture, packaging and supply of PFS finished products and to schedule all the related supply chain activities.

Key Responsibilities:
The creation, coordination and expedition of strategy and plans, liaising with all departments, ensuring smooth supply of finished products to customers. Coordinating all activities across the site to ensure the timely manufacture and release of product, optimise equipment, labour, product launches and customer service.
Identify risks and introduce mitigating strategies.
Vendor scheduling and communication with MRP suppliers.

Continuous improvement of process, develop and provide measuring and tracking tools enabling effective monitoring of customer service and inventory performance.
Support of the logistics department.

Requirements


Requirements


The successful candidate will have a proven background in Supply Chain Management, ideally within the pharmaceutical or similar industry.
Knowledge of lean supply chain principles and MRP / ERP philosophies and the understanding of requirements to make regulatory change in a FDA regulated environment would be of particular interest.
