Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Supply Chain Manager - North Africa

The primary responsibility is the coordination, support and management of Ecolab's North Africa Supply Chain & Logistics Operations (both Legacy Nalco and Legacy Ecolab) in support of the business (Egypt, Morocco, Algeria).

The role is also responsible for customer service activities (customer order placed into the ERP system + open sales order management) by managing the customer service team. Although Logistics operations will be the primary focus for this role, a close coordination with manufacturing locations is essential.

Main Responsibilities
- Safe & Quality Operations
- Responsible for order entry team
- Drop shipment team
- Responsible for Supply Chain compliance versus the Ecolab policies/standards and the local rules (import license, compliancy of our warehouse, etc)
- Responsible for timely and accurate management/reporting of Ecolab inventories
- Maintain process / procedures and system to track inventory, KPIs
- Responsible for monthly KPIs tracked and reported to Regional Ecolab Supply Chain
- Track and report OGSM performance indicators
- Establish and maintain procedures covering Nalco/Ecolab Supply Chain & Logistics activities
- SIFOT Shipped in Full On Time - DIFOT Delivered In Full On-Time
- Stock Management to support business and achieve inventory holding targets - DOH
- Responsible to maintain inventory level to support local business (safety stock, replenishment, follow-up) by analyzing sales history and collecting forecast from sales team (S&OP)
- Control and manage inventory health (DOG12, slow moving, etc) and minimize the amount of inventory at risk

Requirements

- Bachelor's / Master's degree (Engineering or Commerce)
- Additional supply chain courses would be advantageous
- Must have work experience covering region/s within North Africa
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position, ideally with import and export experience
- Must have Customer Service and Logistics experience (warehouse management, freight management) sourcing and cost management
- Excellent English language skills and French will be an advantage
- Excellent team management skills and previous people management experience
- Excellent analytical skills (S&OP management, material planning management, inventory management)
- Experience in ERP system (Scala, SAP, BPCS, Sage, etc)
