Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

A multinational Manufacturing company in HVAC, Oil & Gas and Engineering Industrial sector is currently recruiting for Supply Chain Manager for Middle East Region. As SCM you will manage and control the procurement, stock management, delivery, storage and dispatch of all products to ensure that the company meets all orders by the agreed dates and within the agreed budget. Reporting directly Managing Director, this job is based in Dubai.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and organise the implementation of the medium and long term strategy for department to ensure the achievement of budget in support of company objectives in line with vision and values.
• Direct and control the staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standard and within budget.
• Develop and control annual budgeting and cost management including OWC.
• Risk management and assessment of company exposure ito stock investment.
• Responsible for managing the central purchasing function to ensure companies objectives are met.
• Coordinate vendor activity and negotiations, analyse trends in vendor pricing and sales activity to plan efficient purchasing.
• Monitor and analyze the regular suppliers’ performance and establish an effective SPE (Supplier Performance Evaluation) System.
• Ensure inventory turn ratio of 4 is met, managing the stock planning activities
• Review purchase orders for compliance with corporate policy
• Maintain accurate purchase order prices and vendor cataloguing
• Participate actively in the Corporate Purchasing Managers Group
• Evaluate existing and potential suppliers; recommend and implement changes in suppliers
• Make recommendations on the use of alternate materials
• Analysis and monitoring of stocks to ensure optimum availability for all divisions.
• Accurate receipt, storage and issuance process to effectively manage the supply & demand for customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement effective stock control and audit systems to ensure stocks are maintained at necessary levels

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management
• Min 10 Years’ experience in central purchasing function in HVAC, Oil & Gas and Engineering Industrial sector.
• Min 5 Years’ experience managing Procurement or Purchase function, with experience in managing budget.
• Experience in procuring and negotiating from multi countries.
• Experience in projects procurement
• Experience in developing and implementing strategic sourcing
• Relevant ERP experience
• Strong leadership, motivation and managerial skills
• Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
• Demonstrated competency in budgeting, forecasting and planning
• Demonstrated competency hiring, developing and evaluating employees to achieve corporate and personal objectives
• Proven history of profit and loss management to maximize financial performance
