The Role

Our client is part of a multinational group, with offices throughout the world.
Due to some internal changes they have an opening for a Supply Chain Manager to join their Dubai office.

The SCM will work in a small team (SCM and one admin Support) and liaise closely with all departments, particularly the marketing and sales team.

Job Purpose
? The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for integrating the needs of the Sales & Marketing teams, and outside suppliers to ensure optimal execution of the planning and replenishment process of the companies Products.
? The Supply Chain Manager ensures timely replenishment of stocks based on historical sales, sales forecasts and available market information whilst at the same time optimizing efficiency in maintaining the appropriate inventory levels.
? The Supply Chain Manager liaises with company suppliers to establish optimal communication and execution of logistics systems, policies & procedures.
? The Supply Chain Manager controls and safeguards the import of company products, cost and pricing of transportation, and quality of warehouse storage and inventory management.

Key Accountabilities
? Monitor and evaluate customer demands patterns for Dubai on trade, Dubai Retail and Duty Free channels. Make recommendations where appropriate. Challenge the forecast developed through systems and operational team for reasonability and take appropriate action towards demand planning
? Ensure robust system of customer complaints, quotations and disputes resolution in place
? Define safety stock levels, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Consolidation route and regularly review lead time, across end to end supply chain to meet agreed service level targets
? Establish & communicate inventory plans with all stakeholders. Drive the weekly Out of Stock and Excess stock meetings
? Carry out Option analysis & scenario building in developing the most effective inventory strategies for the region
? Identify potential inventory liabilities/issues and take appropriate actions, managing the impact through the business. Demonstrate high end knowledge of inventory planning techniques with experience of inventory optimization processes and tools
? Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning / forecasting; measure actual performance against goals on regular basis and present results to senior management
? Understand and implement individual principal contract requirements on supply chain side

As the ideal candidate you will possess the following skills/experience:

? Comprehensive knowledge of Supply Chain Planning and demand management across the full range of products and markets within a multi brand environment and industry such as FMCG, Automobile spares or Pharmaceuticals
? Ability to challenge the norm and think outside the box
? Good working knowledge of operational planning systems (SAP, Tableau) and procedures, forecasting, material requirement planning (MRP) and BOM's, with a good appreciation of other related functions
? Good planning and organizational skills
? Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Salary/Package:
The position is carrying a total package between 16,000AED to 18,000AED per month
