The RoleThe RoleSupply Chain Quality Assurance Assistant Manager - Dubai Upto 21K AED per month + Benefits This is a great opportunity to join an FMCG powerhouse in Dubai - they are currently recruiting a Supply Chain Quality Assurance Assistant Manager. Alongside the supply chain manager the successful candidate will be directly responsible for the management of the Quality Assurance department and function and the quality assurance systems for 2 sites. The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Establish and manage a Quality Assurance Department Establish and maintain effective consumer & customer complaint and product recall procedures. Develop and maintain systems for quality assurance for in-coming raw / packaging materials, new SKUs and support trials for new suppliers / new materials/ new SKUs. Develop, implement and maintain an internal audit of the operation and effectiveness of the quality systems and the quality of products manufactured throughout the supply chain, maintaining ISO systems appropriately. Develop, implement and maintain systems for factory and personal hygiene. Develop and implement appropriate training programmes to increase quality awareness, hygiene, product & consumer safety, HACCP, on-line quality assurance procedure and GMP/factory hygiene etc. Actively promote assurance principles by developing and maintaining certified quality agreements Liaise with procurement teams, marketing and external suppliers in order to resolve any issues, always maintaining contact with the sales force throughout the GCC, encouraging good warehousing. |
RequirementsRequirementsTo qualify for this role you must have a related university degree in Food Technology or Science, have a minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in a Quality Assurance management preferably in Foods, and have excellent managerial skills. Please apply online. |
