A multinational FMCG company are currently recruiting a Supply / Demand Planning Manager, this is a new position that will be responsible for the material requirements planning (MRP) for a factory in the GCC, handling raw, packing and product related inventory and planning the production requirements on weekly basis. As well as Monitoring and tracking all inbound RM/PM and product related requirements.

Job Overview:

• Preparation, documentation and approval of all purchase orders based on MRP Plans.
• Monitor factory stocks levels (RM, PM & FG) on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to ensure effective execution of sales orders.
• Review of open PO’s, work orders and take decisions to close, amend or reschedule based on actual requirements.
• Liaise with production to ensure that the production requirements are met as per demand plans.
• Ensure contract packing powder requirements are planned as per requirements.
• Ensure optimum level of inventory to meet company defined inventory targets, ABC analysis and SLOB evaluation and define plans to deplete excess and SLOB inventory.
• Interact and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely shipment of materials based on purchase orders.
• Closely work with procurement department to align material ordering in line with negotiated contracts.
• Support import documentation requirements in line with local regulations.
• Raise all critical issue to Supply Chain Manager.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have minimum 8 years’ experience as Supply / Demand Planning Manager in a production / manufacturing environment.
• Multinational FMCG industry exposure is highly preferable
• Fully understands MRP functionality within an ERP system, MUST able to work material requirements in line with supply and demand.
• Must have an extensive planning & analytical skills within a manufacturing discipline
• Must have Degree qualification, preferably Supply Chain or any related discipline
• Excellent analytical, logical and problem solving skills.
• Motivation, aptitude and accuracy for working with computers and figures.
• Preference will be extended to European or Arab nationals.
