Supply & Planning Manager – Pharmaceutical

Job description / Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in Jeddah for a Supply & Planning Manager working for a globally leading pharmaceutical company.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Leading the supply function in the factory with particular focus on business processes and communication to ensure security of supply and meet the agreed supply plan.

• Develop and maintain a local inventory policy.

• Manage all custom clearance, exports & import activities in relation to supplied materials.

• Manage all Production Procurement activities relating to order processing with suppliers. Ensure that contracts, prices, customs duty and forwarding arrangements are captured in the agreements negotiated with suppliers, and reflected in the exemption list and company registration/regulatory requirements.

• Represent the site at the monthly supply chain planning(SCP) and Supply Chain Issue Management (SCIM) meetings

Requirements

For this role you will be accountable for the following:

• On time material delivery to achieve the targeted planned volumes for the supply as well as the production.

• Dealing with Customs Clearance Agent, Logistics Service Providers, Airlines as well as different system of work and routines in each department.

It is essential for this role that you an understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and quality requirements

Previous experience with Supply and/or Demand principles and their ways of working is important in order to contribute fully to the effective running of the logistics function at the site.
