They are looking to recruit a technically qualified and experienced SUPPLY & PROCUREMENT PLANNING MANAGER with extensive exposure in FMCG, Manufacturing or Industrial sectors.

Job Overview:
- Monitors and evaluates supplier performance in accordance with established rating and reporting system.
- Reporting sourcing spends and trend analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Manages project work to ensure projects are on-time, complete and aligned with business strategies.
- Conducts supplier assessment through site audit, technically assessing vendor capabilities or coordinates with global sourcing team members, where vendor is located to ensure same is completed in line with sourcing requirements for new vendor qualification.
- Manages supplier evaluation and continuous improvement programs.
- Works closely with vendors on new product development to ensure product technical, quality, pricing requirements are met.
- Collaborates among businesses, other functions for strategy alignment, needs definitions, specification or statement of work development, procurement strategy definition and implementation, and priority improvement areas.
- Locates vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, using technical know how to identify suitable vendors and product specs, including shortlist of vendors and interviews them in order to determine product qualification (pricing , specs etc.) and terms of sales.
- Prepares bids, quotes, requests for proposals, purchase orders, and negotiates pricing and contracts as required.
- Commercialization plans are in place for new products being outsourced.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years experience in leading Procurement / Purchasing function,
- Must have a University Degree
- Must have exposure in FMCG, Manufacturing or Industrial sector.
- Significant previous procurement experience in large organisation/s preferably with procurement function with responsibility for delivery of procurement benefits including financial savings
- Experience of successful supplier relationship management
- Experience of high level commercial negotiations with leading global providers
