Surveyor

Job description / Role

Required experience

1. Able to revise Mapmaking, land division, titles, mining, precise location and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction or other purposes.
2. Able to revise previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys.
3. Provides general assistance to project engineers for their site works to proceed.
4. Keep accurate notes, records and sketches to describe and certify work performed.
5. Supervise surveys to determine precise location and measurement of points, elevations, lines, areas and contours for construction, map making and other purposes.
6. Hand over all surveying works to the project manager such as concrete, cut, fill, base course etc.
7. Ensure adherence to safe work practices including proper use of traffic control measures during field work.
8. Coordinate with the site engineer and structural engineer of work priorities.

Requirements

Education
Bachelor Degree or Technician in Civil engineering.

Skills
1. At least 10 years experience in building & Industrial experience.
2. Ability to analyze complex problems and assess possible solutions
3. Ability to explain design ideas clearly
4. Ability to priorities and plan effectively
5. Excellent team working and people skills
6. A comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
7. Bilingual speaking Arabic/English
