Job description / Role
Anderson Knight are seeking an experienced Sustainability/Environmental Engineer for our Global Engineering client to be based in Dubai.
Job Responsibilities:
Identify and develop energy efficient strategies at customer facilities
Determine energy baseline, and develop measurement and verification (M&V) methodologies
Calculate utility and operational savings and generate financial justification reports
Support project implementation of work and delivery of all equipment
Analyse and quantify energy consumption and savings opportunities
Participate in customer interviews, cultivating customer relationships and identifying new efficiency opportunities within customer facilities
Serve as a technical expert during reviews of contractor submittals, MEP design drawings and equipment specifications
Develop comprehensive measurement and verification plan (where necessary) to mitigate company project risk
Assist in developing and cultivating effective business relationships with target customers, and communicate full scope of companies efficiency strategies to meet customer business goals and achieve sales objectives
Provide technical sales support and coordination, both internally to other team members and externally to customers
Ensure contractors as built record drawings (where necessary) are submitted reflecting the work completed as part of the project
Perform other duties as required
Travel, as required (valid driver's license essential)
Requirements
Qualifications / Experience Required:
Degree in relevant Engineering discipline
Relevant energy auditing certification in LEED, CEM, Estidama or ASHRAE
Good knowledge of HVAC design and retrofitting
Working knowledge of IPMVP Protocol
Knowledge of engineering and construction practices in retrofit/renovation projects
Knowledge of occupational health, safety and environmental regulations and standards
Excellent communication skills
