System Manager
AED 22,000 – 25,000

Our client is one of the region's largest, most progressive, multi-cultural law firm and they are looking for offer a fantastic career opportunity as a System and Network Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and provision user accounts in Active Directory Infrastructure
• Ensure healthy DNS Server - DNS health check, removing stale DNS records and DNS replication among the member DNS Servers in the AD Domain
• Resolve any issues and ensuring healthy Active Directory Replication
• Provision new Domain Controllers in the Active Directory as and when required
• Create and maintain Change Requests (CR) as and when required for performing any changes to the Server Infrastructure
• Create plan of action for any major task - including Server provisioning, Installing new server roles and any other LOB applications
• Perform preliminary market studies in the event of hardware procurement and providing valid points to support the need for capacity expansion
• Maintain updated document on the Server Infrastructure
• Manage the Storage Infrastructure and maintaining proper documentation of the Storage Infrastructure
• Ensure that the regular maintenance of Server and storage infrastructure is performed on frequent intervals
• Maintain the Backup Infrastructure - Check the status of scheduled backups, configuring and reviewing the backup jobs, media handling, movement and management
• Ensure that the Data center and data rooms are managed properly
• Maintain the Server infrastructure clean from virus threats and ensure that all the servers are updated with the latest virus definitions available
• Handling and removal of virus infected servers
• Maintain the virtual infrastructure including creation, management & provisioning of the virtual machines using Hyper-V
• Ensure that the Virtual Infrastructure is managed by following the best practices as recommended
• Ensure SAN storage capacity is in place, and manage storage per application requirement.
• Create and provision mailbox for the users, ensure that the mailbox for the users are created in the respective mailbox databases
• Resolve and ensure healthy replication of the mailbox databases
• Problem identification and resolution of the Server environment
• Provide inputs to server sizing and capacity management
• Ensure that the firewall is up to date and running health check periodically
• Ensure that the fiber switches is up to date and running health check periodically

Requirements

Criteria:

• 4-6 years of experience in managing Windows Server environment
• Experience working in an enterprise server environment
• Sound knowledge and experience in managing Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory
• Expertise on SAN architecture and manage link drives, partition and allocate space
• Expertise on fiber switches architecture
• Expertise in managing Backup, Antivirus Servers, DNS and DHCP
• Expertise on Virtualization technologies like Hyper V and Citrix
• Expertise on network and security technologies is preferred
• Expertise on routers, switches VPN, internet lease lines and MPLS
• Expertise on firewall and maintain / update existing cisco systems
