Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Ensures physical IT software, hardware and data security.
- Defines current and future IT security requirements and implements IT security strategy / processes / standards.
- Identifies and assesses potential security threats and implements appropriate IT software and hardware solutions to mitigate risk.
- Continuously performs security audits, Develops standards & policies related to IT security.
- Analyzes and keeps abreast of latest IT security methodologies, tools and standards in order to be able to develop a best-practice IT security system.
- Analyzes and evaluates current IT security framework, vulnerability to risks, impact of potential threats and system availability
- Proposes and manages the implementation of Information Security policies, strategies, guidelines and processes to deliver long term security to the business.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT security awareness program.
- Monitors the implementation of information security mitigation plans to ensure any weaknesses / failures that conflict with standards and procedures are identified and resolved.
- Leads and manages the development of disaster recovery plans, in conjunction with other department heads, which will respond speedily & effectively to the threat of disasters
- Initiates enhancements to the system to ensure its protection
- Develops and oversees the implementation of department policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of Information Security activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.
- Prepares various reports in order to support decision-taking process of management.
- Adherence to all relevant environmental, health, safety, security and quality management policies, procedures and controls so as to help the company maintain the status of a responsible care company that ensures employee safety, security and health, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/ services and responsible environmental attitude.

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Computer Information / Computer Information System /Information Technology / Computer Technology / Management Information System / Software Engineering.
- 6 years of progressive experience in IT Services (Network, systems and SAP)
- CISA / CISSP / CISM certification is essential. CEH / CCH preferable.
- Cisco CCSP, SAP Security certified
- 4 years of progressive experience in IT and SAP Security.
- At least 2 years in an IT /SAP security related role in a mid to large company.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent numerical & systematic analytical skills
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI layer
