Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading regional bank. Our client is looking to hire a System Specialist to join their team in Manama on a permanent basis. This role will take overall responsibility for computer system development and support function for all core systems.
Your key task will be to support the development and maintenance of core and support systems In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating system enhancements and providing support for online and batch-computerised systems with core system vendors. You will also ensure appropriate system support and up-time for all core system software whilst managing time and tasks to meet the core system related IT service requests of business users.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer or Information Science. You should have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position within a banking environment and at least 5 years relevant IT experience. It is essential you have excellent English communication skills whilst Arabic would be advantageous.
