Job description / Role
ABOUT CLIENT:
One of the largest and most complex Gas Processing & Distribution Companies worldwide.
JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Plan and implement all pipeline integrity activities including, but not limited to, integrity planning, repair, FFS assessment and integrity status reports to ensure that the companys Pipeline Integrity Strategy is current and properly implemented.
- Ensure that the company's Pipeline Integrity Strategy is current and advise on integrity status of individual lines
- Advise and support the development and implementation of Pipeline Integrity Strategy, procedures and guidelines; Provide technical advice and support to management and Business Units on pipeline integrity issues
- Assess & validate all inspection data & ensure its uploading into PIMS
- Manage the in-line inspection cost, time & resources effectively, and provide feedback in inline inspection budgeting.Advise asset owners on lines integrity status
- Release Integrity certification Fitness For Purpose (FFP) and remaining life assessment issue- related recommendations and future action plan/next inspection date
Requirements
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Higher Diploma
6 or more years of relevant experience in a similar PIMS systems engineering role.
Should have at least 4 year of experience in analysing & evaluating inspection data & generating integrity status reports on pipelines, within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry
