Systems Engineer (Security)

Job description / Role

1Experts in coordinating & supporting the day-to-day operations & support activities of information security services such network firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, security log management, network access control, inbound/outbound e-mail security and robustness, Data Leakage prevention, etc.

Expert in planning, scheduling, configuring, administrating, monitoring and supporting information security systems maintenance, projects and installation work, systems operations & support activities, including major configuration changes and upgrades. Monitors access control logs, generates audit reports and discuss irregularity with supervisor.

Proficient in the provision of professional expert advice on the selection, design, justification, implementation and operation of enterprise information security controls and solutions.

Expert in identifies threats to the confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability and relevant compliance of information systems. Conducts risk and vulnerability assessments of information systems and computer installations in the light of these threats and recommends appropriate action to management

Expert knowledge of security assessment, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments, forensic analyses of enterprise information systems & network infrastructure services.

Proficient in drafting and maintaining policy, standards, procedures and documentation for security administration

Requirements

B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
8 years Information technology experience, 4 of which should be in systems & network information Security working in similar environment.
Very good English language skills (spoken & written).
