Systems Engineer/Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) Team Leader

Our client, one of the fastest growing public safety and security solutions organisations globally, is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Systems Engineer to their UAE team. As the portfolio of infrastructure / civil projects across the Middle East continues to expand, so too does our employer, a leading provider of public safety and security solutions. Looking to expand their ranks and with long term prospects providing stability and career development, our employer is seeking to welcome a professional and experienced System Engineer Team Leader to lead a team of Subject Matter Experts in all aspects of equipment, radar, networking and sensors for the companys projects.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role is responsible for the following:
Manages the gate security sensors (Vehicle scanners, barriers, ERB) engineering activities throughout the product life-cycle.
Responsible for advanced sensor system definition, design, testing and tier 4 support.
Drives and manages the daily activities of the Subject Matter Experts.
Act as focal point to the companys engineering HQ.
Requirements
The attributes we seek for this pivotal role include:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is essential and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering/System Engineering or Physics would be advantageous.
Minimum 5 year experience in design or system engineering of multidiscipline systems.
Hands on/field experience is essential.
Experience in working on large scale system integration.
Methodical, proactive and capable of working independently.
Proven experience in managing product life cycle (design, development, manufacturing).
Experience in Product QA and integration tests (both operational and environmental) would be highly regarded.
Demonstrated Leadership and Results Driven Approach.
Fluent written and oral English skills.
