Release Manager / Systems Engineer (Ref: 7024)

Abu Dhabi Police GIS is a project for the Ministry of Interior Police Information Technology Organisation
working as procurement intermediary for all Police entities in Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE. The aim of
the project is to update and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of automatic electronic GIS and information, transfer technology and processes, across the national police force.

Release management activities will be conducted at supplier locations, at Operational and Non-Operational facilities and in the field; it will include the testing of hardware, software, networks, business processes, and disaster recovery, training effectiveness and system usability.

Lockheed Martin is responsible as Prime Contractor for the project and will continue to be responsible for running and delivering GIS based Task Orders for a minimum of 2 years after its introduction.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

A degree in Engineering or 5 years’ experience in a relevant field.

More than 5 years additional experience as a manager professional with multi-personnel functional leadership.

Fully conversant with two or more specialist areas within Release Management.

Considerable experience in developing and managing the aspects of Studies, Proposals, Statements of Work, System Requirement Specifications, System Design Documents, Interface Control Documents, Requirements Validation Matrices, Test Procedures, Test Reports and project management.

Familiar with Requirements Capture and Apportionment, Prediction, Validation and Verification techniques.

The role holder will be expected to attain clearance by the ADP to conduct building/computer systems access.

Emirati residency and knowledge of business development / business etiquette within the UAE

Desired skills Experience with Military/Emergency Services/Police.

Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Considered an expert, authority in discipline.
