Systems Engineer

Job description / Role

- Study and analyze Bank's business requirements and recommend suitable solution(s).
- Participate in system selection/development, implementation and post implementation support.
- Attend vendor presentations, evaluate proposals, tabulate user requirements, and issue RFPs.
- Analyze banks business requirements/problems with users and study various options available to propose a suitable solution
- Analyze and test computer programs or systems to identify errors and ensure conformance to standards
- Consult with IT staff and bank users to identify operating procedure problems
- Develop installation documentation and operating procedures for computer application systems
- Coordinate installation of application systems
- Provide post implementation support for application systems
- Coach and/or mentor Junior staff
- Suggest methods to improve area of operations, processes, efficiency and service to both internal and external customers.
- Perform a variety of tasks within the general scope of the job and others as assigned by the management.
- Assist in the selection of software products

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years experience in software development
- Up-to-date with new technologies & trends
- Hands-on experience with applications development
- Hands-on experience with Applications analysis and designing practices
- Hands-on experience with programming language ex (.net or Java, oracle)
- Hands-on experience with Databases usage and implementation
