Job description / Role
Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Preparing and providing documents, plans and principles to manage safety processes (Safety Management System)
• Developing current safety procedures to be used for the identification and management of safety hazards
• Monitoring, reviewing and updating various training methods, staff requirements and other safety related processes
• Development of a safety and security program oversight plan (SSPOP)
• Identifying and recording operational risks or hazards and exerting risk assessments
• Conducting safety meetings with the sub-supplier
• Defining and describing all relevant maintenance and operation rules, procedures and instructions
• Defining the Safety KPI’s, the Safety Incident Database and the communication channel
• Developing and monitoring an audit system
Planning Emergency Management
• Ensuring compliance with current rules, regulations or developed countermeasures
• Providing management recommendations of the Design Build contractor’s construction systems safety and security activities and Design Build Contract systems safety and security deliverables
• Controlling safety and ensuring targets are achieved and the SMS meets the expectations
• Applying time management and following up on team efficiency and quality
Requirements
Your profile:
• Minimum 12 to 15 years relevant work experience
• Experience in international railway projects
• Excellent English skills knowledge in Arabic desirable
• Willingness to re-locate to Saudi Arabia for at least two years
