Systems Specialist - E-commerce - Retail Divisional Office

Al-Futtaim's Retail Division holds a stable of world class brands operating in buoyant markets with huge growth prospects. Some of our brands are Marks & Spencer, Toys R Us, and IKEA as well as Robinsons with a range of smaller brands selected for their appeal to the markets in which we operate. We currently operate our Retail outlets across the Middle East and in South East Asia.

We have enjoyed phenomenal success throughout the UAE, Egypt and GCC countries. We are in the final stages of outline planning for massive growth and need to prepare for the next phase of this program. We are seeking to hire a System Specialist - eCommerce to be responsible for the Sandbox model and to assist the GM in architecture of all related systems needed by every associate in the eCommerce department to perform his daily job. He will be responsible for the configuration and the maintenance of those systems.

Job Responsibilities will be including & not limited to:
* Create a quick sandbox kind of a test-website to map some or all requirements gathered from the client before addressing it along with the blueprint to the 3rd party provider.
* Works closely with the social media team to outline strategic goals as they relate to e-commerce while creating consistent content with our brands' websites
* Utilizes web and social analytic tools to generate reports detailing the efficacy of e-marketing initiatives
* Work on installing and configuring a PMIS (Project Management Information System) whether it is At Task, JIRA or any other relevant PMIS.
* Assist the Digital Asset Manager in Studio Setup and the Digital Asset Specialist in Video / product reviews
* Manage solutions' licenses and users ID creation for all software and systems in place
* Train the eCommerce associates on all implemented technologies.

Requirements

* BSc. in Computer Science with commerce focus or a BSc. in commerce with programming focus.
* Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the delivery of eCommerce Projects.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in digital design (Photoshop).
* Solid experience in HTML, PHP, Java Ajax and NET
* Proficient in Adobe Suite and the MS Suite of products
* Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a software life-cycle.
* Knowledge of Integrated Change Control
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment, including prioritizing and mutli-tasking while paying close attention to detail.
* Hands on lean management
* Native Arabic verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent English skills.
