Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a highly regarded firm who are looking to hire a Systems Network Manager for a permanent position in Dubai.
You will create and deliver user accounts in Active Directory infrastructure and ensure they have a healthy DNS Server. You will complete DNS health check, removing stale DNS records and DNS replication among the member DNS Servers in the AD Domain. You will create and maintain change requests (CR) as and when required for performing any changes to the server infrastructure along with creating a plan of action for any major task including server provisioning, installing new server roles and any other LOB applications. You will also maintain the backup infrastructure, checking the status of scheduled backups, configuring and reviewing the backup jobs as well as media handling, movement and management.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have 4 to 6 years experience in managing Windows Server environment and have a MCSE / MCITP certification. You should also have experience working in an enterprise server setting along with sound knowledge and experience in managing Microsoft Exchange (2010 & 2012) and Active Directory. Exposure to SAN architecture and expertise in managing Backup, Antivirus Servers, DNS and DHCP would be highly desirable. Any knowledge or experience on Virtualization technologies such as Hyper V and Citrix would be beneficial.
