Job description / Role
My client is looking for a TSM/AIX specialist to join their team in Dubai. Ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years experience in implementing IBM Tivoli Storage Manager. The TSM Specialist will implement, configure, administer, and support IBM Tivoli Storage Manager on AIX platform with multiple platform clients, including SUN, NT, and AIX. Specialist will support TSM suite of data protection applications including Lotus Notes, MS Exchange, Oracle and others, as required. The TSM specialist should be familiar with configuring TSM or use with advanced storage subsystems such as the IBM ESS, EMC and various NAS appliances.

Additional information
Knowledge/implementation skills of IBM storage products, such as:
Implementation experience in SAN (Storage Area Networks), SVC (Storage Volume Controller) and TPC (TotalStorage Productivity Tool), Global Mirroring.
Implementation and planning experience around IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) and backup.
Execute TSM Disaster Recovery plan
TSM offsite tape management
Strong technical leadership and communications skills
