Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The main purpose of this role is to provide an efficient consultative and proactive recruitment service on a major civil and infrastructure project in Qatar.

Key duties include:
Consults with businesses on staffing strategy, hiring and sourcing trends.
Provides extensive breadth of market knowledge and expertise of talent acquisition process and strategies
Participates in business meetings to stay updated on what is happening in the line of business and geography in terms of new business, projects that are ending and skill needs.
Sets up and facilitates recruitment meetings
Works with hiring managers to refine their job descriptions, provides a slate of candidates for open requisitions, consults on hiring decisions, chairs feedback sessions with Hiring Managers, works on the development of the offer, negotiates the offer with the candidate on behalf of the company and hiring group.
Utilising our in house recruitment system ensuring that new positions are input and updated on a real time basis.
Optimising job postings and screening questions for marketability for both internal and external positions
Develops and executes sourcing strategies; Introduces new sourcing techniques to hiring managers and colleagues
Screens and interviews candidates; creates the candidate funnel on requisitions to provide the hiring manager with a slate of candidates by conducting resume reviews and candidate phone screens
Positively positions AECOM to candidates
Closes offer by proactively addressing any reservations or concerns

Requirements

Over three years of relevant recruitment experience with at least two years within civil and infrastructure. You will hold a minimum of a degree in either a Human Resources or similar relevant subject.
