Talent Acquisition Manager - Qatar

The Talent Acquisition Manager will deliver the highest value in building and enhancing a dynamic recruiting process to include: defining business/ project needs, developing a resource plan, improving talent quality, expanding external networks and recruiting sources, managing acquisition speed and reducing the cost of recruiting.

This position will be responsible for working with the HRD and Head of Talent Acquisition in delivering the overall leadership, development, and execution of Talent Acquisition strategies that are aligned with AECOMs goals, missions, and values to support the recruitment, selection and hiring of qualified diverse talent.

- Will work closely with all levels of business line managers and executives to determine long term strategic hiring needs and ensure the highest level of service is provided.
- Meets with HR and Line Business managers/colleagues to understand the workforce needs from a skill, level, geography, and project perspective and translates and communicates to TA team and Head of Talent Acquisition.
- Communicates to compensation and benefits when there are issues with hiring due to comp and benefit issues that are impacting the hiring activities for the line of business
- Advises TA team on creation of sourcing strategy for lines of business, with a focus on leveraging all available sources minimizing cost and maximizing results.
- Contributes to the development of the overall sourcing strategy for Talent Acquisition.
- Leads and directs talent acquisition team members to support projects and initiatives.
- Responsible for aspects of managing a team including but not limited to performance management, hiring, coaching, development, load balancing.
- Has responsibility for critical hiring projects and sourcing initiatives.
- Assures candidate management standards and protocols are being met or exceeded by team members.
- Responsible for ensuring data integrity for team, report development and delivery.
- Assigns work and requisitions priorities, and reaches out to colleagues to solicit support for work that exceeds the limits of his/her team. Gets updates from individual staff on updates on daily work load.
- May be actively involved in filling requisitions at the senior level.
- Participates in the selection of Talent Acquisition team members.

Requirements

- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in HR and recruiting with some combination of corporate and agency environment preferably within the Middle East.
- 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Ideally a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- First class consultative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- The ability to present to large and small, internal and external groups.
- Proficiency in web-based recruiting systems and IT systems.
- A full understanding of best practice recruitment.
- Strong time management and personal organisational skills.
