Al-Futtaim's centralised recruitment team is a special place to work and, we think, a unique in-house recruitment team in the Middle East. We take pride in managing our own sourcing without agencies, we measure everything we do, we use the LEAN recruitment process to prevent waste and we carry a huge workload which we share and manage. We are highly systems and process driven and rely heavily on initiative, consistency, intelligence, discipline and good technology to save money, time and effort. Our team comes from the UK, Uzbekistan, Lebanon, Iran, New Zealand, India, Philippines, Canada, Australia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Oman and USA; we speak Arabic, English, Russian, French, German, Thai, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Tagalog, Ajami, Tamil, Farsi, Urdu, Kannada and Turkish. In our first year of operations, 11 of us recruited 2,049 people and we won the Middle East HR Summit Award for the best HR Initiative in the Region. In 2012 our team of 27 working across 5 counties recruited 4300 people into our business and we are on target in 2013 to hire over 5500 into the Group.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Recruitment Manager to join the Centralised Recruitment Team. You will be responsible for direct and dotted line management of Recruitment Specialists both in the UAE and overseas along with the control of agencies for overseas campaigns and temporary contracts.

Reporting to the Regional Talent Acquisition Manager, working alongside the line mangers and HR professionals of the Al Futtaim Group, your role will be to:

* Take accurate details of temporary vacancies and fill these positions in a timely and efficient manner sourcing via our PSL.
* Advise, design and implement recruitment strategies with the business on overseas location suitability/time to hire to ensure recruitment project targets are met to ensure suitable candidates apply.
* Support the overseas interviews/assessments and interview logistic set up with the hiring manager and HRBP. Facilitate and record post interview activities, onboarding facilitation and cost analysis record.
* Provide agreed offer details template and relevant documentation to Hiring Manager and HRBP prior to overseas interviews. Prepare offer letter using OPEL to send to candidate via sniperhire.
* Coordinate with the Overseas Recruitment Agency for timely candidate reference checks and continue a relationship with selected candidate and until the full over and acceptance cycle are complete to pre-boarding.
* Take personal accountability for data entry and record keeping of all activity that sustains corporate recruitment metrics, analyse deviations and suggest development actions.
* Manage existing vendor relationships and actively source new vendors to be added to the PSL.

Requirements

* To be seriously considered suitable for this role, you must have substantial recruitment experience either from an agency or an in-house team
* Knowledge of UAE Labor Law best practice
* Previous knowledge and management of a temporary staffing operation
* Understanding and facilitation of PSL relationships
* Experience of managing large overseas recruitment campaigns is a must
* You must have had previous experience of managing a team of recruiters and be able to coach, mentor and offer advice to your team
* You must be passionate about recruitment as a profession and want to be part of the team long term
* We need someone who can set aside process habits and quickly orientate themselves to what we do and how we do it
* You will need first class skills with the Microsoft Office suite of products and you absolutely must have used at least one e-recruitment platform as a recruiter
* Previous experience of working with recruitment agencies is a preference
* Experience of recruiting both temporary and permanent employees would be a distinct advantage
