Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

1. Review job descriptions to understand job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills required and liaise with management to clarify their specific needs.
2. Recruit against agreed Manpower Plans.
3. Develop recruitment ads to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings.
4. Place job advertising in various media.
5. Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
6. Work with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.
7. Source new recruitment agencies for the preferred supplier list.
8. Utilize Internet online recruiting sources (job boards) to identify and recruit candidates.
9. Initiate contact with possibly qualified candidates for specific job openings.
10. Ensure that travel and lodging for out-of-town applicants is arranged.
11. Perform reference and background checks on applicants.
12. Coordinate all communication with applicants.
13. Participate in recruitment trips when required.
14. Ensure in conjunction that files are up to date with all the relevant information and documentation before handing it to the HR Services department.
15. Maintain a list of all new recruits and ensure that it is sent to Training Department for Orientation training, and made available for data tracking.
16. Update and maintain the Government Relations Checklist, liaising directly with them where necessary.
17. Perform miscellaneous job related duties.

Requirements

- Graduate Degree or Diploma in any discipline. A specialisation is Human Resources Management is preferred.
- min. 3 years experience in a similar Recruitment position.
- Knowledge of local labour and immigration laws.
- Knowledge of different business functions in an organization and the generic jobs.
- Recruitment methods and sources.
- Staffing alternatives (for example, telecommuting, outsourcing)
- Reliability and validity of selection tests/tools/methods.
- Use and interpretation of selection tests (for example, psychological/personality, cognitive and motor/physical assessments).
- Possess Interviewing techniques; and able to handle Relocation process.
- Internal workforce planning and application of employment policies, practices and procedures.
The ideal Candidate would possess business etiquette, be diplomatic, Conscientious, organized and efficient.
The Job Incumbent should be confident, pro-active, possess Excellent interpersonal skills, a Strong communicator, Able to work under pressure and use own initiative, and a Team player.
