Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Talent Acquisition Specialist provides full life cycle recruitment support to supervisors and managers including job descriptions, job postings and advertisements, resume short listing, interviews and hiring packages. Responsibilities include:
- Drive the hiring process: actively engage with hiring managers, providing ongoing status of requisitions, advise and influence hiring managers throughout the hiring process, and close requisitions in a timely manner;
- Develop position-specific talent sourcing strategies and action plans;
- Build a network and pipeline of talent to deepen talent pool;
- Utilize sourcing tools and techniques to source passive talent such as online social networking, traditional networking, cold calling, and referrals;
- Work closely with hiring managers to ensure that competencies and position specifications are accurately reflected in job postings and selection criteria;
- Ensure and continuously work to enhance a positive candidate experience;
- Recommend and influence offer process in partnership with the hiring managers;
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team and with other HR partners;
- Utilization of Applicant Tracking System (SuccessFactors) and social media outlets to attract top talent;
- Monitoring the effectiveness of recruiting tools and provide recommendations for enhancements;
- Maximizing the efficiency and timeliness of recruitment processes while demonstrating the highest level of quality and integrity to potential hires;
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal customers;
- Track and maintain recruiting metrics;
- Provide external market data to hiring managers and HR;
- Managing the workforce planning process by working with department stakeholders; and,
- Participation in ad hoc Talent Acquisition projects, programs, and events as needed.
- Coordination of Fast Track Trainee Development

Requirements

- Bachelors degree is required, preferably in Human Resources or Business;
- 3 to 5 years of recruitment experience in the Middle East
- The preferred candidate will have recruitment experience in the Oil & Gas drilling sector
- Flexible, service-oriented professional who relates easily at all levels and can express independent opinions;
- Demonstrates sound judgment in obtaining solutions;
- Strong negotiation and candidate closing skills;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- Has a hands on working style; and,
- Knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Office Suite
