Job description / Role
Reporting to the Group Talent Development Manager this role requires a HR Generalist background with a focus on Recruitment and coordination for Employee Training. This is a large company with business units in many different industries so candidates with experience of recruiting all levels of staff are required. You must be passionate about recruitment and continuously drive to improve processes and policies. Responsibilities include:
• Manage the complete recruitment cycle, from liaising with managers to assess recruitment requirements and budgets, advertising vacancies on multiple job boards, screening CV’s, initial competency interviews, provide feedback to managers, issuing offers, negotiating packages and finalising successful candidates
• Prepare weekly recruitment reports to assess the status of each role
• Manage recruitment resources and excellent relationships with agencies
• Follow up on visa applications for new joiners and assist with overseas recruits
• Conduct induction/orientation for all new joiners and ensure they have HR handbook, essential IT equipment and desk set up
• Liaise with department managers on training requirements for staff
• Facilitate external and internal training seminars
• Evaluate effectiveness of training courses by assessing employee feedback
Requirements
• Candidates should be dynamic, use initiative to improve processes and be passionate about HR
• An HR qualification would be an advantage along with a minimum of 3 years recruitment experience and at least 1 year in the UAE
• Only candidates currently present in the UAE will be considered
