ABOUT CLIENT:

An exciting opportunity with an established leading Middle East based National Oil Company, that functions throughout offshore development sites as well as in the shallow coastal waters with a number of productive oil fields.

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

To ensure that processes and procedures are in place to identify ZADCO operational employees with potential to move into alternative positions.

To ensure that there is an adequate internal talent pool/pipeline to meet the demands of the organization’s manpower plan as set by Human Capital Strategy & Planning Team.

To propose initiatives to ensure strong support to organization’s business strategy.

To provide advice and guidance to managers to allow them to identify, nominate and select the right candidates from internal talent pool to fill any vacant or newly created position prior to external recruitment.

To ensure that the organization structure within HRMS reflects that provided by BPOD and approved by management.

Monitors organization change and growth to identify opportunities suitable for internal candidates both in the short and longer term.

Reviews and analyzes all of the company's operational employees’ performance records, education and work experience profiles (HRMS records), and prepares a short list of the eligible candidates for each category of position i.e. maintains a ‘Talent Pool’.

Utilizes Talent Management Initiatives such as UAE Nationals Career Development, Succession Planning, and Competency Based Movements of Personnel in co-ordination with line management and MD/HR Teams.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

University Degree, preferably in Business, Engineering or Technical discipline
Minimum 12 years of experience in oil & gas industry ideally in a Talent Management role.
Ability to influence decision makers, to persevere and do what is necessary for successful completion.
Excellent ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in English both verbally and in writing.
