Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- To develop competency maps for different job functions and levels. Maps to include competency definitions and behavioural indicators.
- Conduct competency maps awareness sessions for line managers and staff to advocate the use of competency based approach to development and advancement.
- Coordinate the development process of technical competencies with external contractors and internal departments.
- Continuously improve performance management system based on received feedback and to ensure the system is user friendly and indicative of actual performance levels and gaps.
- Collect and analyze staff development needs from performance management system and coordinate with other L&D staff on development activities.
- Institutionalize the use of assessment tools for recruitment, development and talent identification purposes.
- Administer assessments, write reports and deliver feedback and recommendations to candidates and line managers.
- Assist in management of the talent identification and development program in line with succession plan and business objectives.
- Produce monthly reports detailing talent update and readiness of talent pool constituents.
- Coordinate talent development process with line managers and external entities and partners.
- Follow the development of talent pool candidates and report on progress.

Requirements

- Experience in developing / dealing with competency maps.
- Experience in design/development/administering of performance management systems.
- Experience in conducting and using various assessment tools and in delivering feedback.
- Experience in the following sectors is preferred; tourism, Zoos, Wildlife parks, Safaris, Amusement parks.
- Experience in talent management identification and development.
- Prior experience in developing UAE nationals preferred.
