Talent Management and Emiratization Manager - UAE National - Abu Dhabi

Our client, a port operator in Abu Dhabi in now looking for Talent Management and Emiratization Manager who will manage the talent management & Emiratization section of HR providing expertise on the development of the organization’s training plan through highlighting training gaps, developing training plans, sourcing or delivering the required training and evaluating the impact of all training activities carried out.

In addition, working with the Sr. HR Director to develop an appropriate UAE National Trainee scheme, and training programme for existing UAE National employees, ensuring the smooth operation of the scheme so that all trainees receive the required development for their role and adequate opportunities to develop across the business.

A continuous development aspect of this role is to work closely with the Operations Training Manager, in order to gain exposure to this area of the business and the associated training requirements, thus working towards a more cohesive company-wide training function.

Job Responsibilities:

Actively follow and promote the company Safety and Security policies and ensure that fellow employees and visitors are doing the same. These policies are to be always followed within the port environment so as to ensure a safe and secure workplace for all.
Support Sr. HRD Director in Establishment, develop and implementation of All Talent Management related strategies and Emiratization.
Work closely with HODs to establish development programs that meet their people capabilities skill gabs towards achieving their strategic objectives.
Talent Manage key roles and provide progressive career plan for the next 5 years.
Create and develop calendared training options in line with organization yearly need by establish and implement a system for identifying training needs within the company that meet organisational, departmental and individual needs an produce appropriate training plans that are at departmental level and organisation wide level reflecting the identified areas for development in the organisation and associated training costs.
Create, maintain and monitor the annual training budget ensuring spending is within agreed limits and report on a monthly basis the amount of training that has taken place and all associated costs, whether standard training and development or Emiratization related activities.
Run Performance Management System as per the time line and confirm Personal; Development Plans & career development options.
Work closely with the Operations Training Manager to develop a more in depth knowledge of training requirements within the operations functions.
Develop training and development policies and procedures that fit within the overall HR Policies and Procedures Manual.
Perform and manage Talent Management team members and over view their productivity, punctuality and development.
Tender and contract best training providers and maintain budget control by Source training providers according to identified needs and budget parameters, ensuring that documentation is maintained on all training providers and build relationships with external training providers to ensure the best quality training at the best price.
Establish and maintain relationship with government entities and institution the provide National manpower (Tawteen-Universities – Institutes)
Responsible for Emiratization resourcing program through sponsorships.
Establish Emiratization development programs for entry levels and report progress periodically and Coordinate Training Scheme with the new Emirati joiners ensuring that all trainees follow the planned training program.
The Emiratization Manager is responsible to overcome all concerns highlighted by UAE Nationals and make sure that Nationals are motivated and satisfied. In case of resignation of Emirati Employee ,the Emiratization manager is responsible of conducting an exist interview to note all potential trends of nationals resigning from the company which then should be discussed and solved by the committee .
To keep the Emiratization committee updated on all matters related to Emiratization in the company, and also to tackle and communicate all concerns to the committee so that a proper action is taken.
Providing support to departments as required and meet with UAE National Trainees on a monthly basis to track their progress and resolve any issues raised,amending and revising programs as necessary,either on a one-to-one basis or in groups.
Ensure that all documentation related to training activities is maintained and available for audit purposes

Requirements

Qualifications & Experiences:

Bachelor's degree in HR or Business administration
6 years’ experience in asimilar role.
Experience of working in a port preferable
Excellent administration and organisation skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to groups of individuals in a training environment.
Attention to detail
Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Ability to communicate in English (Speaking/Reading) IELTS Level 107.
Arabic is preferred and any additional languages would be deemed an advantage
