Team Design Leader (Traffic)

Job description / Role

The Team Design Leader will lead the established traffic unit and be the front person of the traffic operation with clients and among other disciplines in the office.

- Will participate in the marketing and BD for all traffic work for the office.
- Will handle the day to day traffic engineering duties on all ongoing projects such as traffic operations analysis, TIS tasks.
- Studies traffic engineering problems.
- Designs plans for safe control and flow of traffic.

Requirements

- Degree in Civil / Traffic Engineering with minimum 15 years experience in traffic engineering out of which 5 years as a Manager of traffic units.
- Must have experience with TIS, modeling, operational software and ITS.
- Must have thorough working knowledge with traffic analysis tools such as SYNCHRO, VISUM, VISSUM, VISSIM, HCS, CORSIM and other traffic engineering software.
- Proven ability to perform in a management role, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are also required.

In addition, must be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project.
