The Role

The Role

Job Purpose:

To manage the career development processes policies and procedures in line with Human Resources strategic plan and the company’s strategic goals.

Job Responsibilities:

•Develop strategies and interventions to support career development at all levels
•Support development of career plans and IDPs in conjunction with line managers
•Provide career counseling, advice and support
•Develop career development tools to support business
•Facilitate the implementation of the succession planning process (hi performing individuals) to ensure key talent is retained and critical roles are not at risk
•Identify criteria for critical roles
•Develop criteria to identify high performing individuals
•Collate information and feedback to support succession planning discussions
•Provide feedback on development plans for high performers
•Work with high performers to plan and co-ordinate opportunities and /or interventions
•Review end of year appraisal information to support succession planning process



Minimum Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Business Administration or relevant subject
•Qualifications demonstrating computer literacy would be beneficial

Technical Skills:

•Have an excellent knowledge of global best practices in area of Human Resources
•Have an excellent knowledge of performance management and career development methodology

Language Skills:

•Have good oral and written communication skills in Arabic and English


•Should have been in a leadership role for at least 2 years
•Should have at least 5 years’ experience in a Career Planning function.
