Job description / Role
ABOUT CLIENT:
An established leading Middle East based National Oil Company with a number of productive oil fields.
JOB PURPOSE & SCOPE:
They effectively evaluate and execute optimum reservoir development and management strategies to maximize recovery while minimizing cost and continuously achieve the highest standards of HSE performance in the industry.
1. Implements integrity management plan of the static facilities & pipelines within the boundaries of the respective work sites (e.g, Fields or Terminals).
2. Controls and supervises a group of Corrosion & Inspection Engineers together with their respective Foremen and contractors work force.
3. Coordinates and implements all corrosion mitigation and condition monitoring programs within the approved budget in order to ensure the integrity of all the static equipments at work.
4. Provides technical advice to other departments on matters related to revamping and or upgrading of corrosion control systems for the new and/or existing facilities.
Requirements
1. Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Chemical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree.
2. Holding a minimum of two Internationally recognized API and NACE authorization certificates in the disciplines of equipment integrity (e.g. Certification in API 510 / 570 / 653, NACE CIP, NACE CP, ASNT NDT Level II or equivalent.
3. Minimum of 12 years varied experience in the field of static equipment maintenance, protection and condition controls and assessment of oil and gas production/ transportation or petrochemical industry.
4. Minimum of 7 years in a supervisory capacity.
