Employment: Full Time

We are currently looking to hire a Team Leader to work from our Dubai based service operations. You will be responsible for the operation of a team of technicians, Foreman and Quality testers to ensure the efficient distribution of the department workload to meet our customer requirements.

You will also ensure that Technicians complete the required work as per the Service Schedule or Technical Instructions and enforce the VHC program on every vehicle, by every Technician in your team.

You will work in close cooperation with your Team Service Advisor and Team Driver to ensure all repairs are carried out as per the time committed to the customer and to the highest quality.

Your duties will include the following:

Job Control
- To distribute the daily appointments to the appropriate member of staff in a fair and efficient manner.
- To ensure consistent communication and updates to the service reception on the vehicle status.
- To ensure the constant communication with the parts department for pre-picked, back order and additional parts requirement

Quality Control
- To coordinate the Quality Tester to assigns jobs to ensure that repeat repairs and safety critical repairs are tested
- To monitor return work and identify possible trends with repairs and report all findings to the Workshop manager.

General Maintenance and cleanliness
- Report all equipment failures for immediate repairs to the Workshop Manager
- Ensure the workshop and workshop equipment is kept to a high standard and cleanliness at all times.

Training
- Identify training needs for your team of technicians and coordinate with the workshop manager to implement individual training plans for each employee inclusive of a department training records.

Financials
- To provide the highest level of hours sold and productivity for your team of technicians
- Ensure that each vehicle receives a completed VHC that is passed to you Service Advisor for any additional repairs
- Communicate daily targets and objectives to all technicians

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Complete basic education
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Good level of computer skills , Excel and Word
- Experience in Toyota vehicles and systems

Minimum Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a Automotive roll
- Qualified Diagnostic Technician or equivalent is an advantage
- Previous experience in a supervisory role

Job-Specific Skills:
- SAP experience is an advantage
- UAE Driving Licence is a advantage

- Time Management skills
