Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Managerial Responsibilities
Participates in the development and implementation of the SME Indirect Sales plans, in line with the corporate objectives – in relevance to the assigned partner potential and plan
Directs and manages the channel partner, providing leadership and facilitating work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
Manages and controls the channel partner, providing guidance and support, necessary for continuous improvement and business development
Acts in compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards in the Channel Management Department.

Core Responsibilities
Partner Management
Manages all performance and operations of channel partner and reports on progress against performance indicators and plans.
Manages all documentation pertaining to partner commission scheme and ensures compliance with STC’s policies, local regulations and relevant standards.
Improves and strengthens STC’s access to channel partner and ensures effective management of day-to-day activities of channel management partners.
Liaises with STC’s channel partner on a regular basis and provides technical expertise in resolving their queries in order to effectively sell STC’s brand and product line.
Maintains relationship and carries out efficient portfolio management with channel partner thereby generating maximum sales and mitigating the risks involved.
Attends all escalations, identifies reasons, effectively communicates to all relevant internal and external stakeholders and ensures faster turnaround time in compliance with STC’s channel rules of engagement.
Understands conflicts arising involving the assigned channel partner and ensures no overlaps with other sales channels.
Enforce detailed processes for partner management in particular related to: communication with partner, strategy & target cascading by region and service, activity management, lead management and deal registration
Acts as liaison with SME sales support teams to provide all relevant consistent and timely support and materials to partner
Works closely with partner to expand reach of SMEs across remote areas of KSAs.
Maintains consistent branding and communications for all partner activities pertaining to STC products & services
Manages reseller leads and provides support to improve lead generation and conversion rate
Ensures that partner is evaluated across parameters such as geographical presence, fit for SMEs, sales techniques, customers reach, customer experience, etc.

People Management Responsibilities
Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensures effective application of the STC performance management process.
Ensures high level of employee engagement and capability development by providing on-going feedback and coaching team members within the partner account management team

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration

Years of Experience:
A minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience with at least 2-3 years in a similar role

Nature of Experience:
Prior experience in managing channel partners in a large organization, preferably in the telecom industry

Job Specific Skills:
Ability to maintain business relationships with channel partners at all levels
Knowledge of channel partner commission and pricing schemes including market practices
Strong analytical skills
Proven sales negotiation skills
Knowledge of door-to-door sales tactics and workforce management
