The RoleThe RoleOverview: Ensure the integrity of the general ledger and accounting entries. Handle regulatory and statutory reporting and compliance. Responsibilities include the following: - Monthly operation report - Weekly production report to regional office - Analysis report - actual production vs budgeted for the same period; - Monthly Premium vouchers/ Journal vouchers entry; - Calculation of General insurance reserves - Reconciliation of General ledger accounts (related to the technical department) and all Bank accounts |
RequirementsRequirements- Bachelors Degree and Part-Qualified (CA, ACCA, CPA) is a must. - Ideally post-graduate degree in finance and accounting, experience of the insurance industry and IFRS and/or US GAAP would be a distinct advantage. - Three years professional experience in finance preferably within a multinational company in the financial sector must have a good working knowledge of accounting principles. - Excellent written and oral skills in English, Arabic would be an advantage but is not essential. - Excellent computer skills in MS Office, particularly in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. - Ability and willingness to occasionally travel within the Arabian Region, including Saudi Arabia. - A positive attitude and willing to learn and develop with the business enabling the candidate to see the bigger picture. |
