Technical Advisor

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialist, gypsum-based building materials. A true multinational company with offices located across the world, they now require a Technical Advisor for their Dubai office.

Based in Dubai and reporting to the Technical Manager, your key responsibility will be to provide technical support and advice to customers and to the sales team.

Additional responsibilities will include:
Dealing with customer enquiries.
Providing technically accurate advice in response to questions from the Sales team to assist in the specification of products.
Support the site engineers with training.
Deliver presentations as and when required.
Conduct research on external data to keep up to date with technical development within the industry.
Design of gypsum board thickness depending on requirements.

Requirements

Educated to Degree level in Engineering discipline.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience working with Gypsum based products.
Strong technical understanding of construction based materials.
Excellent report writing ability.
