Job description / Role

- Delivers end to end architectural design.
- Troubleshoots issues that fall between the normal boundaries of solution components.
- Delivers Professional Services to sound technical, business and professional standards while ensuring strong customer satisfaction and success.
- Helps to ensure that Professional Services projects are completed on time and on budget.
- Protects and furthers the Company's excellent service reputation.
- Is the primary resource for scoping technical projects effort and making technical contributions for Statements of Work
- Schedules and delivers code on time with minimal defects.
- Researches and follows up on technical issues related to projects; informs, communicates and shares issue analysis and progress with Colleagues at SCRUM meetings.
Requirements
- 5+ years software consulting experience (implementing enterprise software solutions for customers) including direct customer contact
- Knowledge and experience with the professional services project lifecycle (agile methods, requirements capture, construction, QA and deployment).
- Prior experience as a software developer essential
- Solid experience in the following domains
- J2EE (Java, JSP, Servlets) with one of the following application servers
- Weblogic Application Server
- JBoss Application Server
- Websphere Application Server
- Oracle Database or mysql Database (knowledge of database design and schemas)
- HTML, DHTML with javascript
- Web Services, XML and XSLT
- Ajax technologies
- Networking (knowledge of TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP, Routing, etc)
- MVC frameworks (Struts, Velocity or similar)
- Unix (Solaris or HP-UX)
- Industry knowledge of Telecommunications related consumer products a plus
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Understanding of Call Center operations
- Broadband transport technology
- Strong English written and verbal communications skills
- University degree in CS or EE from a reputable University
