Job description / Role
Parsons Brinckerhoff is assisting Qatar Rails multibillion planned works to integrate a 4-line 100-station metro, high-speed passenger rail, freight, a people mover and light rail, which once delivered will provide a fast, convenient, world-class, fully integrated railway system for the State of Qatar.
Due to this we are currently looking to recruit a Technical Assistant reporting to Project Director to join our team in Doha.
Ideal candidate should be experienced in general administration and should be able to compile technical meeting minutes, prepare power point presentations with technical content and organize meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree holder- an Engineering degree preferred.
- 5-8 Years of experience
- Must have previous experience of working on large Rail/infrastructure projects
- Must be proactive, tenacious and very determined
- Strong English communication skills
- Excellent computer skills and be experienced in all MS packages
- Should have experience in dealing with technical documents
- Preference will be given to candidates who are currently based in Doha and are available immediately
